Jeff Pen started a Google Ads practice in 2002 with a conviction that performance advertising should be run like an engineering problem, not a creative one. For the first fifteen years, that meant Google Ads for e-commerce retailers. In 2017, WeAdU went international. In 2024, WeAdU formalized systematic AI-boosted campaign management — daily automation of product classification, campaign segmentation, and bid optimization.
Jeff has been running paid-media campaigns professionally since 2002, spending his first fifteen years managing accounts for e-commerce advertisers, including seven years based in Florida. That practice became WeAdU: the agency went international in 2017 and was incorporated as WeAdU Ltd in the UK in 2018, and has held Google Premier Partner status every year since 2024. Google's defaults are optimized for Google's revenue, not yours — WeAdU was built around the opposite principle: the operator controls the outcome. The algorithm is a tool. The strategy is human.
